what ship is this going to be?

just obtained this, can anybody tell me what ship this please. it seems to me that whoever has done it so far, put quite a lot of work into it. thanks

yes, I have pics.............some sort of Corvette, but definitely not a Flower class by the shape of the front of the superstructure and the funnel.....hazard a guess at being a Yank.

It is a Canadian Flower hull, but the superstructure looks scratch-built.

It's an interesting looking vessel.  I agree it's a corvette hull but I didn't think that the "square" stern version was as square as that.  Perhaps it's a freelance design conversion inspired by S.S.Sudbury, a corvette converted to a salvage tug or an interpretation of how a post war corvette might have been modified.

Hi ya
 
To me it has the stern of the Castle Class Corvette.   As we have said though, the bridge is totally wrong for the Castle Class.   The funnel is similar - I am just wondering though - if it is meant to be something like a weather vessel.  A lot of the Castle Class Corvettes were turned into weather vessels after the 2nd World War - also some of them were converted into rescue ships - they had big oval life rafts on the back end.   Just a thought.....
