Originally published in Vic Smeed's 1957 book, Model Maker Manual. Sonic Sippi was drawn half size at 21cm, which shows you 42cm to be correct.

Hello again,

the first testrun in water took place; just had to add 1,6Kg of weight to bring the modell to the maximum displacement.

On the pond all looked fine and it reached the maximum speed converted to 22 knots.

The optical impressions seems to be a bit too fast.

The drive draws 14 Amps at full speed.

hi A excellent venue and the makings of a great event in the future combined with others model hobbies plus interesting things for the the family.The next event is planned for the 27th 28th July with the support of model boat clubs and individual model boaters and the support from the trade this has the prospects become a major event on the model boat calendar.  more update to follow.
