search online for " robosizer", its a FREE download program. Once installed it will automatically adjust the size on any picture image you wish to share on ANY program or site. O0

If using windows 10, open it with Paint (the included picture handler).  Under the "home" tab is a "resize" command where you can pick the percentage size wanted.  Then use "save as" to put it somewhere that you can find it again.  Check that the new file size is as expected, attach and send.
Previously I have used the FREE image handler "irfanview".

There's also a free program called Light Image Resizer available here http://www.obviousidea.com/windows-software/light-image-resizer/ I've been using it for years.

I use Irfanview (free) which not only lets you resize but also change how compressed the image is. Tis means that within the 300kb limit I can get much larger images or I can reduce the image data size to help Martin. These images are set to jpeg quality 60

The first image is 1920 x1074 (full hd) and is 287kb
The second image is 1450 x 811 and is 205kb

In Ifranview, while showing your image, click the "Image" tab, then click "resize/resample" from the drop down menu.  Then "save As" somewhere else or with a new name.  The other available image adjustment options are in the same drop down menu.

Dear Administrator
I have been referring to a build blog by tt1 titled Alice Upjohn my third build as I have just started a long owned kit by Metcalf Mouldings of the same lifeboat. I have found this build blog very interesting and helpful but today many of the photos on the blog have disappeared.
Is there any particular reason for this or is it a quirk on my laptop.
If Tony sees this I wish to thank him for his work and the help it has given me so far, long way to go yet.
Regards Chris G

Chris G,

The images you refer to were on an external server to the Mayhem forum and then linked using a URL from the external source to the post on Mayhem e.g. http://s12.postimage.org/is1e1jkbt/1_Large.jpg

The images don't appear to exist any more on the external server - the only person you could ask about the reason they no longer exist at the lookup URL link is the person that put them their in the first place who was more than likely  "tt1"

Chris,

My suggestion is to personal message the author tt1, look him up in members list, and ask him if he can provide copies and or info as required.
Unfortunately you will find several threads on here with the same problem because the authors didn't and some still don't post from their computers but from the "cloud". It is out of the control of the administrator/moderators to rectify.
